Simon Brookes	Balcarras School SW	Fuel for Thought- This project helps stop fuel being drained from the tanks of parked lorries. The reason this is becoming more of an issue due to the rising cost of diesel.
Emma Delvin	Banbridge Academy NI	Netball Skills Counter-The Netball Skill Counter uses ultrasonic technology to measure the users scoring accuracy. When a basket is scored the device automatically carries out a reading of the distance from which they scored
David Boyd	Cambridge House Grammar School NI	DJB Lamb Adopter- A fabricated lamb adopting pen with a mechanical entry and exit system. This product allows a ewe toadopt orphan lambs comfortably and effectively.
Samuel Harris	Cheam High School SE	Kurai Kaze- Sale engineering/design concept model of a carbon neutral hybrid motorbike; with a unique steering and dual wheel high torque electric motor drive system.

Anthony Rowling	South Craven School Y&H	Urban Chicken Hut- Accommodation for urban poultry to encourage healthy eating.
James Popper	Marlborough College SW	The Cooksmart detects specfic infa red radiation from flames. The signal is processed to detect the fame flicker to minimise false alarms due to other sources of infa red before triggering the alarm.
Robert Grasse	Merchant Taylors School SE	Motorbike Windsurfing Trailer: He designed and made a trailer to go behind his motorbike on which he can carry both his board and the associated kit. What makes his product quite unique is the intriguing suspension system he devised which utilises rubber balls.
Grant Walker	Merchiston Castle School SE	Milk Churn Transporter- A system for safely and easily transporting heavy (60kg) milk churns up steps.
Samuel Pate	Shenfield High School Eastern	The intention was to combine detailed craftsmanship with a contemporary artistic based design strategy. The aim was to create an aesthetically focused piece that was functional as well as pleasing to the eye. This was executed by using unconventional materials, strong lines and environmentally friendly lighting
Ryan Storrie	St Mary's Grammar School NI	Electronic Bleep Test- A personal multistage fitness test designed to eliminate cheating from the conventional bleep test, recording the level achieved, distance and has an innovative chance system
Michael-John Lynch	St Mary's Grammar School NI	Time Cop- Set Top Box- A device which allows the controlled usage of electronic entertainment products for children in the home.
Michael Harper	Tendring Technology College Eastern	MP3 Amplifier- Designed and built an MP3 amplifier, that has a visual display of the sound. It has LEDS that dance to the music.
Fraser Pearson	The Chase Technology College	SkyPod- A wind power Ipod charger, which can be attached to a car allowing the user to charge their IPod at will.
Shawn Brown	Ysgol Llanbedr Pont Steffan Wales	Solar Bike- It is a bamboo framed electric trike, utilising as much sustainable and reusable material as possible. Aimed at gap year travellers.
Hefin Jones	Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi Wales	Fold- A foldable contemporary chair made from recycled coffee cups and oak. It has a clean aesthetic and uses innovative hinging and locking devices.

Caitlin Rowlands	Amman Valley School Wales		Rock chick inspired dress for Topshop. Final garment displays a range of processes and techniques and is of a high quality.
James Lambert	Cheltenham College SW		Flat packed Xmas Tree- The tree, which comes flat packed opens up to form a corner piece.
Joseph Murray	Christian Brother's Grammar School NI		Heated Mirror and Cabinet Alarm- A bathroom cabinet, with a mirror and incorporating an electronic circuit, which controls a child alram and a system to stop themirror from misting up in a steamy atmosphere.
Sean Crawley	Colaiste Lorcain Ireland		Drive Me Round The Bend- An electronic devise, using dual beam infra-red system, traffic lights and digital display to improve road safety on bad bends where there may be a concealed entrance.

Aseem Mishra	Hymers College Y&H		Drum Lights- The design allows the drummer to use high intensity LED's to light up each of the different drums when they are struck.
Sahil Dawar	Kings College School SE		Sahil has a keen interest in mechanical engineering and he wanted to design a product aimed at children that would encourage them to develop their own interest in engineering.
Elizabeth Broom	Llanfyllin High School Wales		Medical Cabinet- A clearly labelled cabinet including Braille which also speaks the contents in the drawers once pushed inwards.
Raurid Rafferty	Merchiston Castle School Scotland		A stylish unit designed to store t-shirts, either in a wardrobe or as an individual unit attached to the wall.
Adam Robins	Nottingham High School WM		The product reminds you to feed your fish twice a week (Sundays and Wednesdays) and tells you when you have overfed them.

Joe Yarwood	St Martin School Eastern		Guitar Mood Light- he moodlight is a simple yet sophisticated low level feature light providing subtle lighting levels combined with changing colours.
Rebecca Kummet and Sile Stafford	Sutton Park School Ireland		Improving Mucus Detachment in Cystic Fibrosis-We developed a CF physiotherapy vest after carrying out an investigation to find which frequency of oscillation was best at removing simulated mucus from hemspherical smooth surfaces.
