JUNIOR ENGINEERS FOR BRITAIN K'NEX CHALLENGE PARTNERS

Young Engineers is very proud to be assosciated with the partners of this competition and gratefully acknowledges their support, without whom it would not have been possible to run the challenge. Without the help of our sponsors and supporters it would not be possible to run the challenge and we offer grateful thanks to Netwrok Rail, Tomorrow's Engineers and to Data Harvest and our local K'NEX Deliverers.

Network Rail owns, operates and maintains the rail network that the whole nation relies on. We get three million passengers where they need to be. We enable the transportation of millions of tonnes of freight. And we’re working tirelessly to improve safety, reliability and efficiency with a programme of change so ambitious, it will literally transform the rail industry. To make Britain’s railway a source of pride for the country and a source of inspiration for our workforce, we’re investing heavily in the people who are going to take our business even further forward. By working with Young Engineers we hope to develop the future engineering talent of the rail industry – the people that will help give Britain the railway it deserves. Network Rail is proud to support the Junior Engineer for Britain challenge.

Data Harvest is delighted to be one of the supporters of Young Engineers’ exciting and motivating 2010 challenge for primary schools. Data Harvest is a specialist supplier of data logging and control systems to schools and colleges, and is also K’NEX Education’s UK distributor. Being at heart an engineering company, Data Harvest shares Young Engineers’ enthusiasm for children designing and making things, making them work and making them work better.
Good luck to all the 2010 K’NEXperimenters, we look forward to meeting some of you.
